Stevenson tips Highland Park

The senior forward scored in the second half off an assist from Austin Gregorcy, as Stevenson's girls soccer team edged Highland Park 1-0 in a semifinal of the Class 3A Stevenson regional on Tuesday.
Patriots keeper Lizzy Sancrainte made 4 saves.
Stevenson (14-4-2), the No. 5 seed in the Palatine sectional, will play No. 4 Hersey, a 1-0 winner over Rolling Meadows, in Friday's 6 p.m. regional final.
Lakes 9, Antioch 0: At Lakes, Alex Neal had 2 goals and 3 assists for the host Eagles, who led the Class 2A regional semifinal 8-0 at halftime.
Lakes (19-6), the top seed in its own sectional, advances to Saturday's 11 a.m. regional final against No. 3 Richmond-Burton in Lake Villa.
The Eagles also got 2 goals from Alyssa Baker. Other offensive contributors included Ashley Neubeck (goal, assist), Michelle Kosman (goal, assist), Hanna Jewell (goal), Jenna Baker (goal), Brittany Mooney (goal, assist), Sarah Bartlett (assist) and Leah Baker (2 assists).
Neal hiked her scoring totals to 31 goals and 15 assists.
Eagles keeper Sarah Fitzpatrick earned her 12th shutout.
Mundelein 1, Palatine 0 (3 OT): At Lake Forest, the third-seeded Mustangs avoided the regional-semifinal upset, as Ashley Begrowicz scored in the third overtime.
Abbey Ekstrom assisted on the game-winner, which came in the 105th minute and lifted Mundelein into Friday's 6 p.m. regional final against the winner of today's match between Glenbrook North and Lake Forest.
Glenbrook South 3, Libertyville 1: At Libertyville, the No. 13 seed and host Wildcats) were deadlocked with the top-seeded Titans 1-1 at halftime of the Class 3A regional semifinal.
Glenbrook South's Jannelle Flaws scored 2 of her 3 goals in the second half.
Jessica Faber scored Libertyville's only goal and Colleen O'Connor assisted. The Wildcats ended their season with a 12-8-2 record.
Glenbrook South (20-4-4) will next meet up with No. 8 Warren.
Warren 2, Prospect 1 (OT): At Libertyville, the Blue Devils got a golden goal from Kerry Eddy in the 85th minute.
Eddy one-timed a kick from 35 yards out for her sixth goal, which was set up by Sky Anselm's corner kick.
"I think it was all on instinct," Eddy said. "I was just trying to get it on goal. I wasn't sure it was going in. When I saw it go in the net, I went crazy."
Prospect (12-9-2) made Blue Devils keeper Amanda Macuiba make 7 saves.
"A win is a win," Warren coach Jeff Knouse said. "We had our opportunity and Kerry buried it.
Warren (12-10-1) got its first goal when Anselm finished a pass from Natalia Jovanovic in the 10th minute.
Prospect tied the game in the 67th minute on a long-range kick from Agnes Stankiewicz.
"I'm disappointed in the score, but not with the way we played in the second half," Prospect coach Tom Froats said. "We took it to them and we were the dominant team. We just didn't finish for whatever reason. I thought we were the better team, but it didn't show it on the scoreboard."
