Alex Maccauley scored 16 points and Ethan Breitenstein added 15 as Crystal Lake South's boys basketball team scored a 54-45 Fox Valley Conference Valley Division win over Huntley Wednesday night at South's Gator Alley.

Kevin Rogers added 11 points for the Gators (12-8, 5-1), who remained tied with McHenry and Cary-Grove atop the Valley standings.

Tyler Brunschon had 13 points and Bryce Only added 12 for the Red Raiders (12-9, 1-4).

Cary-Grove 61, Dundee-Crown 51: Chad McCarron scored 16 points and Nick Richter added 10 as the Trojans (11-10, 5-1) kept pace in the FVC Valley race. Sean Bernhard had 14 points and Jamel Kimbrough added 13 for the Chargers (2-17, 1-5).
