Tuesday's Fox Valley roundup

McHenry 64, Jacobs 60: The Golden Eagles (3-10, 0-1) held a 2-point lead heading into halftime, but were unable to hang on as they fell at home to McHenry in their first Fox Valley (Valley Division) game.

Mike Peterson (16 points), Sean Meyer (15 points), T.J. Brooks (12 points), and Matt Schmidt (10 points) all led the Golden Eagles with double-digit performances.

F.W. Parker 69, Elgin Academy 60: The Hilltoppers (3-10) found themselves down 42-26 at halftime and fell just short in their comeback effort as they dropped this home game to F.W. Parker. Junior Aaron Thomas paced the Hilltoppers, scoring a game-high and career best 28 points, which included five 3-pointers. Paul Leonardis also finished with double-figures scoring 14 points.
