Algonquin Road, front of Building A. 2-mile run at 8 a.m., 5-mile run at 9 a.m. $30 day-of registration. 100-yard Drumstick Dash Fun Run for Kids at 10 a.m., $5. Nov. 27
Men's Basketball Tournament: Register by Friday, Nov. 27, for tournament Sunday, Dec. 13, Grayslake North High School, 1925 N. Route 83, Grayslake. The 2009 Men's Open Division Basketball Tournament for ages 18 and up. Each team will be guaranteed three games. Team captains will receive a game schedule one week before the tournament. Buffalo Grove Boys Feeder Basketball tryouts: Noon-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, Buffalo Grove High School. Tryouts for sixth, seventh and eighth-grade teams. All players must live in the Buffalo Grove High School attendance area. Parents are required to register their son upon drop off. Nehara Hadassah Couples Bowling League: 8 p.m. on the fourth Saturday of every month beginning in August at Lakeside Lanes, 900 S. Lake, Mundelein. This league goes from August to May with a $25 payment every month per couple.
