Lake Co. adult social calendar

Events for adults that are largely social, such as singles events, reunions, game nights, wine tastings and adult open gym nights. Deadline is two weeks before event date.

Sept. 1

Sept. 8

Bunco Night: 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, Libertyville Civic Center, 135 W. Church St., Libertyville. The Libertyville Junior Woman's Club will host a Bunco Night beginning with refreshments at 7 p.m. followed by bunco and a club meeting from 7:30-9 p.m. A $5 donation is welcomed; proceeds will support a local charity nominated by game participants. Hadassah meeting: 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, or 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, Hadassah North Shore office, 3000 Dundee #313, Northbrook; or 7:30 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 8 at a home in Glencoe. Hadassah Great Plains Region, Chicago Chapter and the North Shore Chapter will host educational meetings with guest speaker Zvi Popper, who will be promoting the various departments of the Hadassah College in Jerusalem and their programs. DivorceCare: 4:45-7 p.m. Sundays, Sept. 13 to Dec. 6, Crossroads Church, 1350 Route 137, Grayslake. A seminar series featuring some of the nation's foremost Christian experts on divorce and separation topics. Participants may at any time during the series. Participants receive a workbook that outlines each week's topic; a donation of $15 is requested for each workbook but scholarships are available. This league goes from August to May with a $25 payment every month per couple.
