37th Annual Seniors Day: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, Independence Grove Forest Preserve, 16400 W Buckley Road, Libertyville. Open to Lake County residents 55 and over. A variety of activities will be offered including music and dancing, sponsor exhibits, bingo, pontoon boat rides, horseshoes, trails for hiking and biking, and health screenings. Seniors should bring a picnic lunch and a lawn chair. Free.
