For grades 1-5. Sports will include basketball, flag football, softball/baseball, dodgeball, fitness and more. Each camper must bring a snack and drink everyday, plus a swimsuit and towel. Fees are $85 for Grayslake residents, $106 for nonresidents until Friday, May 15, $95 for residents and $119 for nonresidents after.

Full Day Sports Camp: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, June 15-26, June 29 to July 10, July 13-24, or July 27 to Aug. 7, Grayslake Middle School, 440 Barron Blvd., Grayslake. For grades 1-5. Sports will include basketball, flag football, softball/baseball, dodgeball, swimming, fitness and more. Each camper must bring a sack lunch and drink, plus a swimsuit and towel. Boating Safety Education: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 16, Fox Lake Community Center, 23 South St., Fox Lake. The Village of Fox Lake Parks and Recreation Department and the Coast Guard Auxiliary of the State of Illinois is offering Boating Safety Education Classes. The cost is $40 per person. Arlington 500 Invitational Bicycle Ride: 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, May 17, Barrington High School, 616 W. Main Street, Barrington. The Arlington 500 follows lightly traveled roads in Lake County and is designed for the recreational bicyclist. All recreational cyclists are invited to participate. Golf Outing: 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, Bittersweet Golf Course, 875 Almond Road, Gurnee. The Exchange Club of Gurnee will hold its Fifth Annual Golf Outing. Money earned is used to support Lake County agencies that provide programs for the prevention of child abuse. Entry fee is $90 which includes 18 holes of golf, breakfast and lunch.
