Clearbrook Jelly Belly Days: Volunteers are being sought to work various shifts between 6:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16, at intersections throughout Chicago and the suburbs during Clearbrook's Jelly Belly Days. Bowl for Kids' Sake: 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, the Brunswick Zone - Hawthorn, 316 Center Drive, Vernon Hills. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lake County will host its annual Bowl for Kids' Sake fundraiser, open to all donors, community members, volunteers and corporate partners of Big Brothers Big Sisters who can raise or donate a minimum of $100 to participate. Wags, Whiskers and Wine: 3:30-6 p.m. Sunday, May 17, Cuneo Museum and Gardens 1350 N. Milwaukee Ave. Vernon Hills. Placing Paws of Illinois will hold their first "Wags, Whiskers and Wine Family Fun Fest and Adoption Event Fundraiser." The family event will include a wine tasting, raffles, pet photography, a clown, face painting, an "animal communicator," Reiki sessions, arts and crafts, food and more. The Save Lake Zurich Music Fund is dedicated to preserving and continuing the music programs of the CUSD 95 school district and committed to raising the $200,000 needed to retain the programs. It Can Be Done: Mondays and Tuesdays, Francesca's Intimo, 293 E Illinois Road, Lake Forest. Francesca's Intimo has agreed to donate 15 percent of patrons' bills to the nonprofit organization It Can Be Done! on Mondays and Tuesdays if the customer mentions the organization to a restaurant employee. The proceeds will benefit the purchasing of a drill to construct wells throughout the 12 villages of Uru on Mount Kilimanjaro, providing the 30,000 people living there with freshwater.
