Antioch Garden Club plant sale: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 9, Williams Park Pavillion, directly behind the Antioch Public Library District, 757 N. Main St., Antioch. All plants are donated from members' gardens and local nurseries. Proceeds support the club's community gardens and horticultural philanthropies at local schools. Dog Training and B.A.R.K are collecting dry dog and cat food, canned dog and cat food, biscuits and any pet treats to help families in need feed their pets. Puppies 10 weeks to 6 months of age with proof of vaccinations can play with other puppies for free in a safe, off-leash environment.
