Long Grove Chocolate Festival: Last day of event, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 3, Long Grove Historic Village, Old McHenry and Robert Parker Coffin roads, Long Grove. House Walk: Noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 3. Hawthorn District 73 presents its seventh annual House Walk. This year's House Walk features houses in Torrey Pines, Pine Valley and Royal Troon. Boy Scout Pancake Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. until after the 10:45 a.m. service, Sunday, May 3, St. Matthew Lutheran Church gym, 24500 Old McHenry Road, Hawthorn Woods. Libertyville Pageant: Applications due Wednesday, May 6. The 2009 Libertyville Pageant is scheduled for Thursday, June 18, in Cook Park in Libertyville. Entrants mist be 16-21 years old for the Miss Libertyville Pageant, 11-13 for Junior Miss and 6-8 for Little Miss. Contestants are required to reside in the 60048 ZIP code.
