Friends of the Library Book Sale: 7-9 p.m. Friday, May 1 (members-only preview); 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 2; and 10 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m. Sunday, May 3, Round Lake Area Public Library, 906 Hart Road, Round Lake. Relay for Life-Palatine fundraiser: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 9, Palatine Presbyterian Church, 800 E. Palatine Road, Palatine. Over 30 crafters and vendors. Spring Into Green: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9, Millburn Congregational UCC, at Grass Lake and Route 45. Lake Villa. Community garage sale, focusing on "green" vendors.
