St. Francis wins 12th straight

St. Francis 4, St. Edward 2: Brianna Pasquale's 2-run go-ahead homer capped a 3-run rally in the seventh for the Spartans (14-2, 3-0 Suburban Catholic Conference), who won their 12th straight game. Kelcey Fabianski's run-scoring single tied the game. Taylor Ronchetto (9-1) struck out 14.

Wheaton North 1, Naperville Central 0: Lon Holaway reached on a dropped third strike and came around to score on Paige Wilson's RBI single in the sixth for the Falcons (11-4, 2-0 DuPage Valley Conference). In the seventh Falcons pitcher Kahla Nolan (8-2) got a strikeout and a pop out with the bases loaded and one out to end the game. Natalie Wunderlich (8-2) struck out 13 for Naperville Central (10-3, 2-1).

Glenbard East 2, West Aurora 0: Megan Shannon homered and Abby Petersdorf (6-9) fired a 3-hit shutout for the Rams (6-10, 1-2 DVC).

West Chicago 2, Naperville North 0: Jessica Wood tossed a 2-hit shutout for her first win of the year for West Chicago (15-1, 3-0 DVC).

Waubonsie Valley 4, Larkin 3: Tori Spears' game-winning single capped a 2-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning for the Warriors (3-11, 2-3 Upstate Eight Conference).

Benet 13, Glenbard South 1: Allyson Staats cracked a 2-run homer in the fourth inning, part of a 15-hit attack for the Redwings (11-3).

Glenbard West 4, Downers Grove North 0: Briana Wyatt tripled and doubled and Michele Waggoner drove in 2 runs for the Hilltoppers (9-5, 3-0 West Suburban Silver).

Lisle 14, Reed-Custer 0: Colleen Drennan drove in 5 runs and Bekka Houda (8-4) struck out eight in a 1-hitter for Lisle (11-6, 4-3 Interstate Eight Conference).
