Multiple Sclerosis Walk: 10 a.m. Sunday, April 26, Century Park at Big Bear Lake in Vernon Hills. The Vernon Hills High School Interact Club will sponsor a Multiple Sclerosis Walk. Registration will take place on site at 9:30 a.m. There is no cost to register, but there is a recommended $20 donation amount. All proceeds will benefit the MS Society Illinois Chapter. Immunization Clinics for Children: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Mondays; 1-3 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; 1-6 p.m. Thursdays; and 9-11 a.m. the second Saturday of each month, Lake County Health Department Belvidere Medical Building Annex, 2303 Dodge Avenue, Waukegan. Children can receive all routine childhood immunizations. The cost of an immunization is $10, but no one is denied services due to inability to pay. Parents are asked to bring their children's past immunization records. If a child has an immunization letter from a school nurse, it should also be brought to the clinic. No appointment necessary. CareCoach: Lake Forest Hospital's CareCoach mobile health unit offers Lake County residents health screenings, including blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol and asthma.
