Lincolnshire Garden Club: 9:30 a.m. Thursday, April 16, Vernon Hills Public Library, 300 Olde Half Day Road, Lincolnshire. A short video on the Schreiners Iris Garden in Salem, Ore., will be shown. Give Back to the Earth: 7:30-11 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, Old School Forest Preserve, St. Mary's Road, south of Route 176, and north of Route 60, Libertyville. Sponsored by the Lake County Audubon Society, the event will start with a nature/bird walk, followed by coffee and rolls, then participants will help to remove some of the garlic mustard that is an invasive element on many Lake County properties.
