Healthy Diets for Adults: 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16, University of Illinois Extension, 100 S. U.S. Highway 45, Grayslake. An educational seminar teleconference on developing healthy diets for prevention or treatment of obesity, diabetes and heart disease for dietitians, home economists and other interested health care professionals. Immunization Clinics for Children: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Mondays; 1-3 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; 1-6 p.m. Thursdays; and 9-11 a.m. the second Saturday of each month, Lake County Health Department Belvidere Medical Building Annex, 2303 Dodge Avenue, Waukegan. Children can receive all routine childhood immunizations. The cost of an immunization is $10, but no one is denied services due to inability to pay. Parents are asked to bring their children's past immunization records. If a child has an immunization letter from a school nurse, it should also be brought to the clinic. No appointment necessary.
