Pot Luck dinner: 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at a members home in Buffalo Grove. Yahava young women's group of Hadassah North Shore Chapter will have a Pot Luck dinner and gift exchange. See "The Nutcracker": Bus departs 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17 from the Barrington Park District to see "The Nutcracker" performed at the Noble Horse Theatre in Chicago. Highland Park Hadassah: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, at a member's home in Deerfield. The Highland Park Group of Hadassah North Shore Chapter will hold a meeting. Robert Katzman, author, of "Fighting Words" will give insights into his writings and be available for a question and answer period. A minimum donation of $5 is required. New Year's Eve Celebration: 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, St. Joseph Parish Hall on Lincoln Avenue in Round Lake. There will be a cocktail hour followed by a catered buffet dinner, dancing and entertainment. Attendance is limited to 250 adults age 21 and older.
