Kids fun while parents shop: Mundelein High School's student leadership organization will provide organized activities for children on Saturday, Nov. 29, so parents can spend the evening doing holiday shopping or an evening to themselves. Available for children ages 4 and up, the service will be available from 5 to 9 p.m. for $5 per child. All proceeds will benefit the school's Adopt-a-Family charity. Student leadership will offer activities such as basketball, soccer, dancing, cheerleading, crafts and games. Reservations must be made by Nov. 25.
