Golden Paw Gala: 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, Radisson Hotel, 2875 Milwaukee Ave., Northbrook. Gala to benefit the animals at Heartland Animal Shelter. Includes a silent auction, food stations, Champagne toast and activities for well-behaved dogs. Pet pictures with Santa: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, Classy Critters Dog Grooming Spa, 78 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich. Pets can have their picture taken with "Santa Paws and his elf Ziggy." All Creatures Fundraiser: 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, All Creatures Animal Hospital, 1210 Rte. 22, Lake Zurich: All Creatures Animal Hospital will sponsor a holiday fundraiser for Canine Cancer Campaign and Fremont Township Food pantry.
