Clothing and toy sale: 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17 and 8 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 at Butterfield School, 1441 W. Lake St., Libertyville. The Butterfield Family Association will host this sale featuring consignment items from Libertyville area families. Items will include fall and winter clothing in infant through teen sizes, toys, books, games, videos, sporting equipment, Halloween costumes and baby items. A half-off sale on selected items will be Saturday.

Country Market Place Craft Fair: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, Glenview United Methodist Church, 727 Harlem Ave., Glenview. The Glenview United Methodist Women's annual craft fair, with over 40 crafters. Lunch will be served. A donation of $2 includes admission and entry into drawings for handcrafted door prizes. Warren Township High School Craft Show: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, Warren Township High School Almond Campus, 34090 Almond Road, Gurnee. Exhibitors wanted: The Vernon Area Public Library District is looking for exhibitors for a Health, Wellness and Fitness Expo from noon to 2 p.m. Jan. 25. Local health, fitness and wellness organizations will be at the library to share key factors in leading a healthy life, featuring displays, chair massages, blood pressure checks, health screenings, food samples, a healthy foods cooking demo and an appearance from Chicago Bears official team mascot Staley da Bear.
