Shoreline Dance Club: 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, Gorton Community Center, 400 E. Illinois Road, Lake Forest. Couples can review basic salsa steps and learn new ones. Lessons are followed by an evening of social dancing. Admission per couple is $20 for members and $25 for guests. Membership per couple is $20 per year. Surviving the Loss of a Spouse: Drop-in group meets from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesdays; Jewish Child and Family Services, 1156 Shure Drive, Arlington Heights.
