• Sergey D. Moroz, 19, 423 Elm Tree Lane, Vernon Hills, was arrested Aug. 15 and charged with criminal damage to property, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and domestic battery on the 600 block of Dove Court, police said. A court date was not available.
Gurnee
• Burglars stole a wallet Aug. 7 out of a 1999 Cadillac Escalade parked on the 5300 block of Conifer Lane, police said. Someone used a credit card in the wallet to charge $500 in purchases, reports added.
Island Lake
• Devin M. Coffman, 31, 2611 Forestwood, McHenry, was arrested around 8:55 p.m. Aug. 16 and charged with illegal transportation of open liquor and driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at Fern Court and Circle Drive North, police said. A court date was not available.
Kildeer
• Thieves stole five golf ball washers overnight Aug. 10-11 from Kemper Lakes Golf Course, 24000 W. Old McHenry Road, police said. A value estimate was not available.
Lake Zurich
• Vandals shot three BB-gun pellets overnight Aug. 12-13 into a bus window at the Lake Zurich Unit District 95 transportation building, 66 Church St., police said. Damage was estimated at $600.
• Burglars stole an MP3 player, digital camera and wallet around 1:30 p.m. Aug. 13 out of an unlocked vehicle parked on the 300 block of Grand Avenue, police said. Value was estimated at $725.
Libertyville
• Sean L. Daniel, 23, 404 S. Lewis Ave., Waukegan, was arrested around 1 a.m. Aug. 15 and charged with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop at South Milwaukee Avenue and North Artaius Parkway, police said. His Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 16.
Mundelein
• Steven J. Babiez, 47, 1046 Wrens Gate, Mundelein, was arrested around 5:25 p.m. Aug. 11 and charged with illegal transportation of open alcohol and driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Route 45 at Route 176, police said. His Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 12.

• Vandals wrote graffiti overnight Aug. 9-10 at a home on the 1300 block of Fox Chase, police said. A damage estimate was not available.
Vernon Hills
• Eduard V. Zinin, 39, 1333 Lake Ave., Glenview, was arrested Aug. 14 and charged with illegal transportation of open alcohol and driving under the influence after a traffic accident at Lakeview and Fairway, police said. His Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 24.
Wauconda
• Vandals spray-painted graffiti overnight Aug. 11-12 at the Wauconda Park District building at 600 N. Main St., police said. Vandals also spray-painted graffiti on park district facilities Aug. 15 at 466 N. Main St. and 130 Osage St., reports added. Damage estimates were not available.
