United Methodist Churches in DuPage County are collecting and assembling cleaning materials to aid the victims of the flooding in Illinois and Iowa. The supplies are packed into a 5-gallon bucket with a lid to secure the contents of 30-gallon plastic trash bags, dust masks, clothes lines, rubber and work gloves, sponges, bleach and detergents. Good Samaritan United Methodist Church is collecting donations for flood bucket kits and health kits for the communities flooded by the Mississippi.
