Palatine resident Jason Abrahams was promoted to account executive, from assistant account executive, at KemperLesnik, a Chicago-based public relations and events agency.

Allen Bolnick, managing partner of the accounting firm of Wiseman Leader Adler & Bolnick, has merged his firm with Weltman Katz Mikell & Nechtow. The new firm, called Weltman Bernfield, is headquartered in Buffalo Grove.

Baird, Chicago, named Rosa Ebling senior vice president, financial adviser.

The Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers elected the following new board of directors for 2008: president, Rick Delisle, principal of Chicago-based Lee & Associates; vice president, Jane Robins, vice president of Des Plaines-based Arthur J. Rogers & Co.; secretary, Matthew Rogatz, senior vice president of Paine/Wetzel Oncor International; and treasurer, Corey B. Chase, principal of Podolsky Northstar Realty.

Mark A. Hoppe joined Taylor Capital Group Inc., Rosemont, as president and assumes the role of president and chief executive officer of Cole Taylor Bank. Hoppe previously was an executive vice president with LaSalle Bank.

The following physicians joined the Delnor Hospital medical staff: Dr. Michael T. Sims, emergency medicine, Valley Emergency Care, Geneva; Dr. Kristin D. Drynan, family practice, Fox Valley Family Physicians, Geneva; Dr. Amar Bansal, gastroenterology, Dreyer Medical Clinic, Aurora; and Dr. Sravan K. Thangeda, hospitalist, Inpatient Consultants of Illinois, Geneva.

Eileen Kosar of Lisle, a consultant with Tastefully Simple, earned the company's Building Leaders Award, which recognizes team development and leadership skills.

Lia sophia announced top honors for sales accomplishments and professionalism in its Excellent Beginnings program to the following individuals: Constantina Liapis of Addison, Michelle Hasley of Arlington Heights, Andrea Boniecki of Bloomingdale, Diana Molitor of Glenview, Kady Fleischmann of Niles and Nicole Mueller and Elizabeth Schuett, both of Schaumburg.

The following Central DuPage Hospital physicians were named among Chicago Magazine's 2008 "Top Docs:" Dr. William Bayer of Warrenville, DuPage Internal Medicine Ltd., Carol Stream; Dr. Peter Liber, founder of Wheaton Pediatrics, Wheaton; Dr. Diane Ozog of Downers Grove, Central DuPage Hospital and Central DuPage Outpatient Center; and Dr. Matthew Ross of Wheaton, Midwest Neurosurgery and Spine Specialists, Winfield.

Dykema, a national law firm, announced the appointment of Wilmette resident Thomas R. Hills, former leader of the litigation practice group, to office managing member of the firm's Joliet and Lisle offices.

With more than 20 years of sales management experience in consumer products, Rick Migal joined CTI Industries Corp., Barrington, as national sales manager for balloons and novelties.
