Dr. Kevin P. Most of Aurora was promoted to vice president, medical affairs, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Most, who has worked at CDH for 17 years, previously held the position of senior medical director of the Central DuPage Hospital Convenient Care Centers in Bloomingdale, Wheaton, Bartlett, Naperville and St. Charles.

Marianjoy Medical Group, Wheaton, announced that Drs. Abraham Barnabas, Natalie Boodin and Rahul Sharma joined its physical medicine and rehabilitation practice on the campus with Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital.

Barbara Briel of Downers Grove was promoted to vice president, director of administration and finance, at Sourcebooks Inc. in Naperville. Briel becomes responsible for directing all activities relating to the management of expenses, including development and implementation of supply chain management and achievement of production requirements.

Klein Hall & Associates LLC, Aurora, announced the addition of Kelli A. Pikul and Kristin Welch as staff accountants. Pikul previously served as a senior and cost accountant at AAR Corp., Wood Dale. Welch joins KHA from Calamos Investments, where she was a trade settlement analyst and a reconciliation intern working with foreign currencies.

•The National Association of Credit Management and Robert Half Finance & Accounting and Accountemps honored John Jaeger of Carol Stream with its Instructor of the Year award. Jaeger is manager, credit and accounts receivable for Follett Higher Education Group, Wholesale Services, River Grove.

Witt/Kieffer, an Oak Brook-based executive search firm specializing in health care and higher education, named James W. Gauss president and chief executive officer.

Allstate exclusive agent and Lombard native Thomas P. Hyland of Glen Ellyn opened an insurance office in Lombard. Hyland Insurance Agency Inc. offers customers a full line of Allstate insurance products and services.

Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association in Addison honored Connie Kaesmeyer of Lombard with its Rising Star Award. Kaesmeyer, who is employed at York Theatre in Elmhurst, is an active participant in NEDSRA programs, which serve people with disabilities in Addison, Bensenville, Butterfield, Glendale Heights, Itasca, Lombard, Medinah, Oakbrook Terrace, Schiller Park, Villa Park and Wood Dale.
