Vineyard Church to offer workshop on creating a culture of prayer

If you long to see God do more in and through your church and in your community, Vineyard Church of Elgin invites you to join in a workshop, "Creating a Culture of Prayer," on Saturday, March 4.

The speaker will be the Rev. Bruce Latshaw, senior pastor of The Barn Vineyard in Landenburg, Penn., and a member of the Spiritual Renewal Team at VineyardUSA.

Explaining how to identify next steps and long-term goals, he offers a practical, proven blueprint for establishing a foundational prayer culture in any church.

Attendees will hear how other churches have started to create a culture of prayer, and learn what the results have been. The workshop is for pastors, church leaders, prayer leaders, intercessors and laymen at all levels of experience and engagement.

"Creating a Culture of Prayer" will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church, 220 Division St., in downtown Elgin.

The cost is $15, which includes lunch if registration is made by March 1.
