Latino Film Festival-Elgin returns this weekend

For the fourth consecutive year, Elgin Community College and Marcus Theatres will host the Latino Film Festival Elgin.

Movies from Colombia, Chile, México, USA and Puerto Rico (all with subtitles in English) will be shown from Friday, April 15, to Sunday, April 17.

Opening night will be at the Elgin Community College Spartan Auditorium with the movie "Pa!" from Colombia at 6 p.m. follow by a VIP reception that will gather personalities from the business, media and government agencies.

As an added bonus, the main actor from the movie will be present to mingle with the audience and talk about the movie.

At the Marcus Theatres, the weekend will feature movies from Chile ("Perla"), México ("Ilusiones, S.A."), U.S./Mexico ("Club Frontera") and Puerto Rico ("Una Boda en Castañer").
