St. Laurence School to host Knowledge Fair, open house Feb. 24

St. Laurence School, 572 Standish St. in Elgin, presents its annual Knowledge Fair and Open House at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24.

The students have worked hard to create, develop and present a variety of programs and events. Such highlights will include "The Hall of History," "The Poetry Cafe," "Science Fair," student movies and many special projects from individual classes. This is an opportunity to talk to the teachers, and schedule a tour.

Also on this night, the school will be accepting registration for the following programs: pre-K4 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 to 11 a.m.; full-day kindergarten; openings in all grades from first grade to eighth grade. They also offer After School Care, an extended after school program, available from 2:30 to 5 p.m.
