DAR to organize new chapter in Algonquin-Huntley area

A genealogical workshop will be held with leaders of the Daughters of the American Revolution to discuss the work of the DAR with a group of prospective members who plan to organize a new chapter in the area.

The DAR genealogy workshop will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Huntley Area Public Library, 11000 Ruth Road, Huntley.

Volunteer genealogists will be available to assist with new member applications. Those interested in attending the workshop please contact Joan Longmire at jmlngmr@foxvalley.net or (847) 961-6381.
