East Dundee bridal shop debuts new reality TV show

East Dundee, IL - Complete Bridal of East Dundee has a new reality show "Best in Bridal". A sneak peek is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 2, at 9 p.m. CST on FYI Network, produced by Half Yard Productions.

Earlier this year, Complete Bridal spent several months at their store location filming the new series "Best in Bridal." The series showcases the all-male staff of Complete Bridal and the all-female staff of Shelley's in West Dundee. The theme of the show is essentially male versus female while following the owners of the salons that have differing management styles and customer base. Its debut on Tuesday, Sept. 2 will be immediately following hit show "Married At First Sight." The sneak peek airing will be a one-hour preview of the show giving viewers a taste of what's to come when the full season launches in October 2014.

"Five guys doing what guys do best - sell dresses" explains David Gaffke, owner of Complete Bridal. "I've been competing with all-female bridal salons for nearly 31 years, and who better to decide what looks best on a woman than a guy?"

Even Complete Bridal shop owner, David Gaffke, is filled with anticipation because even he and his staff have been left in the dark by the network as to what will be shown during the sneak peek. "A lot goes into the taping and production of a reality show," said David Gaffke. "My staff and I are excited to see how it all comes together."

"We're very excited for David and the success of the bridal shop. We can only hope that it will bring attention to our growing community and benefit all the businesses in town," commented Lael Miller, village president. The Sept. 2 sneak peek of "Best In Bridal" will be shown locally on Comcast Channel 275 at 9 p.m. Gaffke and staff plan to watch the premier at newly opened Blues BBQ and Grill at 102 N. River St., in East Dundee. They will be arriving at 8 p.m. followed by a private preview party inside.
