Girl Scouts to offer Summer Scuba Program for girls

Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois

Local girls, ages 10 and older, have the opportunity to discover the thrill of scuba diving at Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois' Discover scuba program on Sunday, July 27, at Sea Level Diving, 269 Liberty St. in Crystal Lake. Girls will leave their fears on the pool deck, as they learn the basics of scuba diving and dive in the pool with scuba equipment to view the underwater world!

Registration is $32 per registered Girl Scout; $47 per nonregistered Girl Scout.

The additional $15 registers girls as Girl Scouts and allows them to participate in this program and many others throughout the summer.

The fee includes use of all scuba equipment and a fun patch.
