SummitView Church of Hoffman Estates Announces Concert Series to Retire Mortgage
SummitView Christian Church of Hoffman Estates has announced the first of a series of concerts to begin April 12th at the church.
The April 12 concert will feature the duo "Frank and Steve" (Frank Guzzo and Steve Campbell), veteran entertainers featuring folk rock, blues/jazz, and ballad styles of original music mixed with humor and wit. The door will open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert at 7:00 p.m.
Frank who has 40 years of music, teaching, and worship ministry experience has travelled throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico appearing on TV, stage, and at community festivals. Steve, who is senior pastor of SummitView, has over 40 years of singing experience including performances with the Goodnewsmen and the Gospelites.
The concerts are part of SummitView's efforts to retire its mortgage. The church is located at 695 Illinois Blvd. and has been at the Hoffman Estates location for 51 years.
Ticket donation is $5.00 with children under 5 free. A raffle, 50/50 drawing, and door prizes will be awarded during the concert. Refreshments will be available.
