Dozens of Employers Expected at Harper College Job Fair

More than 70 employers will gather at Harper College this October for the annual Fall Job Fair, which runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, October 4 in the lower level of the College's Wellness and Sports Center, Building M, on the main campus, 1200 W. Algonquin Road in Palatine. Parking is available in lots 1 and 2 off Algonquin Road. The event is free and open to the public.

Companies and employers scheduled to attend include American Chartered Bank, IKEA, the Palatine Fire Department, UPS and many more, all of whom have current job openings. Registered employers attending the Job Fair represent full-time, part-time and internship positions in a number of career fields, including health care, manufacturing, food service, early childhood education, marketing, IT, engineering and others.

Job seekers are advised to bring plenty of copies of their resume, research their companies of interest, dress to make a great first impression and plan to spend an hour or two meeting with employers.
