American Kyuki-Do Federation Promotes 12 Elgin Students

The American Kyuki-Do Federation promoted twelve students from Kim's Black Belt Academy and Kyuki-Do Martial Arts of Elgin to the rank of 1st Dan Black Belt, Saturday May 4th. The Huntley Park District hosted the promotional examination which included 44 candidates from throughout the Midwest. The Midwest Tournament of Champions immediately followed on May 5th where Elgin Instructor Drew McCurdy (2nd Dan) earned the title of Grand Champion for the second time.

The promotion celebrated the first black belts (Steve and Christy Tammes) promoting from Kyuki-Do Martial Arts of Elgin.
