Wauconda Park District Beach

Wauconda's only public beach opens June 1st, 2013. Beach hours of operation are everyday 11:00 am to 7:30 pm when life guards are on duty. Purchase your passes for individuals, families, and daily passes. Seniors age 55 and over and children age 3 and under are admitted free. The beach closes August 11th, 2013 and will only be open on select weekends: 8/17-8/18, 8/24-8/25, and 8/31-9/2 from 11:00 am-6:00 pm. Join the summer fun on July 13th at our Summer Beach Fiesta from 1:00-4:00 pm. Enjoy goofy games, sand castle building, and conclude the day with Root Beer Floats. Don't forget the FInal Beach Bash on August 25th from 1:00-4:00 pm. Lets end summer with our traditional cookout finale, games, prizes, raffles, entertainment by a DJ, and much more.

Wauconda Park District's marina opens May 1st. Purchase your boat slips and launch passes at the Community Center for your boating needs.
