Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois

Local girls, kindergarten through fifth grade, now have the opportunity to try a variety of fun activities from the Girl Scout Journey books and learn about three important keys to leadership through a partnership between Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois and Sage YMCA. The new program will be Thursdays, April 14--June 8, 4:30--5:30 p.m. at Sage YMCA of Metro Chicago, 701 Manor Rd., in Crystal Lake. Fee is $28 for currently registered Girl Scouts; $40 for non-registered Girl Scouts and includes Girl Scout membership.

Girls will learn how to Discover, Connect, and Take Action! All activities will be age-appropriate, and all girls will receive their own Girl Scout Journey book. This program is partially funded through the generosity of the McHenry County Community Foundation. For more information, contact Claudia Bethke at 847-741-5521, Ext. 7133, or
