"The Iliad, The Odyssey, and All of Greek Mythology" comes alive at Schaumburg High

The Schaumburg High School Theatre Department is proud to present “The Iliad, The Odyssey, and All of Greek Mythology in 99 Minutes or Less” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, to Saturday, Nov. 17 in the Carl Weimer Auditorium.

This year's fall play features everyone's favorite gods and goddesses, including Zeus, Hera, Athena, Hermes, and Hades, as well as a condensed and comedic version of Homer's The Iliad and The Odyssey. The actors will be furiously working to make sure to tell all stories within the 99 minute timeframe because when the clock runs out, the lights go off!

The cast features seniors Sarah Mattioli, Jon-Carl Sholar, and Kailey Ziffra; juniors Paige Brantley, Carissa Miers, Jarrett Passaglia, and Kyra Saragaglia; sophomores Michael Long, Nabiha Mansoor and Andrew Pellerinos; and freshmen Morgan Gold, Darien Hiller, and Evan Humphrey. Junior Allyson Jesse is the student director.

Students may purchase tickets during lunch periods the week of the show.

Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults.
