Consistent scores power Prospect

Barrington’s Greg Conrad and Nick Schippel both carded 36’s on Tuesday, but Prospect’s consisent approach prevailed on Wednesday at Makray Memorial Golf Course in Barrington.

Ryan Maloney shot 38, Jeff Blethen 39 and Josh Johnson and Tyler Yarwood 40 as the Knights earned a 157-160 victory in a matchup of two of the Mid-Suburban League’s best teams.

Girls golf

St. Viator matched both its competition and the golf course with a winning effort Wednesday.

The Lions shot 182 at The Chicago Highlands Country in Westchester to best Benet (203), Nazareth (210) and Marian Catholic (219).

Saint Viator’s top scorers were Dana Gattone (41), Amy Stringfellow (44), Chrissy Wimberly (48), and Courtney Christophe (49).
