Chicago Music and Acting Academy to offer Pop Up Theatre Exploration Classes

Join pop-up theater exploration classes with the Chicago Music and Acting Academy team. They are heading to Crystal Lake for two four-week classes that explore creativity and build confidence. Classes will be held Thursdays, April 13 to May 4, at the Crystal Lake Strikers building at 54 Lou St., Suite B.

5 to 6 p.m. Jr. Players (K - 2nd Grades)

Our Junior Players will learn the building blocks of performance by using their creativity to travel to amazing new worlds. They will explore how actors use their voices, their bodies, and imaginations to bring a character to life. They'll sing, dance, act, and create theatre magic together. This class helps develop listening, social skills, and confidence while having fun!

6:15 to 7:15 p.m. Rising Stars (3rd - 5th Grades)

Our Rising Stars will level up their performance skills while exploring the building blocks of story creation and collaboration by creating their own original tale. From imagining and designing original characters to acting out their own story, they will bring the impossible to life through theatre magic. This class is the perfect way to explore creativity and improve self-expression skills.

Classes are $80 per four-week session.
