Grief Matters Support Group begins new session Sept. 14 in Wheaton

Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton welcomes anyone grieving the death or loss of someone to be a part of the new session of the Grief Matters Support Group.

The group meets at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays, starting Sept. 14 to Nov. 16, in the church commons, 224 N. Main St.

It is a place where you can be with people who understand how you feel and the pain of your loss. You'll gain valuable tools to help you as you continue on the journey of grief. Please register at garychurch.org/registrations.

Gary United Methodist Church offers a 9 a.m. Sunday service in the sanctuary, complete with Kids' Church, plus livestreaming and recorded worship at garychurch.org. After the worship service, you can enjoy a coffee hour called "Special Blend."

Sunday school for all ages starts again Sept. 11.

You can also enjoy the new 11 a.m. Service of Word & Sacrament, starting Sept. 11.
