Do you have a few hours to help volunteer at Home of the Sparrow?

Volunteers are the backbone of Home of the Sparrow. Each time you help, you become part of a woman's story as they journey from homelessness to self-sufficiency.

To sign up as a volunteer, or for more information, visit: www.HOSparrow.org, or call (815) 345-9160.

On Monday through Saturday, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., volunteers help at our Sparrow's Nest or Community Threads thrift stores.

The stores are located in; McHenry, Woodstock, Cary, Palatine, Mundelein, Third Lake, and Arlington Heights.

Not only do volunteers get a discount when shopping at the stores, they meet new people, and have fun working together toward a common mission.

Sporadically, Home of the Sparrow looks for groups to help with special projects.

Once your group registers with us, we will alert you when a project comes along to see if your group is interested, and has time. Group volunteering can be a great team building exercise.

For 35 years, Home of the Sparrow has been providing "Hope, Opportunity, and Support" to homeless women and children.

For general information about our programs, volunteering, or becoming a donor, visit www.HOSparrow.org or call (815) 271-5444.
