Donate to Huntley Rotary's 'Baskets and Buckets' project

Local people need items the food pantry does not carry. The Rotary Club of Huntley is organizing a "Baskets and Buckets" project through Dec. 10.

You can donate a basket of cleaning supplies or bucket of personal care items for the Grafton Food Pantry to give to families in need this holiday season.

Donate a bucket with cleaning supplies, such as dishwashing and laundry soap, cleanser, toilet bowl cleaner, brushes, vinegar, bleach, paper towels, rags; a basket with personal care items, including lotions, soap, razors, toothbrushes and paste, mouthwash, ChapStick, deodorant, shampoo, toilet paper; or a basket with feminine hygiene products.

Tie a ribbon around the handle for a festive accent and know you are making life for a family nicer and easier.

Deliver your gift to either the Huntley Area Chamber of Commerce office, 11704 Coral St., between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays, or Drendel Corner Store, 13280 S. Route 47, across from Del Webb. It is open 24/7.

The donation is sponsored by Rotary Club of Huntley, Grafton Food Pantry and Huntley Area Chamber of Commerce.
