Wheaton's Bethel Presbyterian Church explores the lessons of Lamentations

Bethel Presbyterian Church, 1401 S. Naperville Road in Wheaton, will now hold two identical in-person Sunday services. Worship will start at 8:30 and 11 a.m.

A reservation for in-person worship is required, and can be made at bethelopc.org.

Reservations should be made by Wednesday each week as Bethel limits the number attending in-person worship.

Bethel also livestreams its worship services and they also can be viewed at bethelopc.org/livestream/.

On Sunday, Aug. 30, Dr. Deryck Barson, Bethel's senior pastor, will continue his sermon series on the Old Testament book of Lamentations.

Barson will apply the lessons of Lamentations to the difficult times in which we live and proclaim the great salvation offered to all through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
