Anderson Arts Center reopens with social distancing

The Anderson Arts Center in Kenosha will reopen Tuesday, June 16, at 1pm.

The Arts Center closed in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. It will be open to the public starting June 16, Tuesday through Sunday from 1-4pm.

The current exhibit showcases works by the League of Milwaukee Artists (LMA) titled "Artistic Expression from a Diverse Collection", and features 39 artists and over 100 artworks. The Arts Center is also featuring works from the Area Artists Group.

All the works exhibited are available for purchase. The exhibit will be displayed through August 29.

In keeping with guidelines established by state and local officials, as well as the Arts Center's capacity to provide a safe environment for guests, staff, and volunteers, masks will be required to enter the Arts Center and no more than 10 guests will be allowed inside at a time. Touchless hand sanitizer stations have been added to the galleries.

For questions, please call the Anderson Arts Center at (262) 653-0481. Watch for updates on www.andersonartscenter.com and on social media channels.
