Auditions set for 'School House Rock Jr.' Jan. 11-12

It's Showtime Theatre of Huntley, the resident theater group of the Huntley Park District, announces auditions for "School House Rock Jr." from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12.

Auditions take place at the Huntley Park District, 12015 Mill St.

Auditions are open to ages 5-18 of all experience levels. Director and choreographer Shannon Lee Day requests that those auditioning should come with a prepared song. Performances run April 17-19 and April 24-25.

Although walk-ins will be seen, it is preferable to sign up for an audition slot at bit.ly/2sQuOLD.

An audition packet will be emailed to those signing up for an audition slot.

"School House Rock Jr." celebrates the beloved music numbers of the 1970s Emmy Award-winning children's Saturday morning television series. Memorable numbers include "Conjunction Junction," "Interplanet Janet," and "Just a Bill."
