Delight in the holiday spirit at The North Pole Holiday Spectacular

The magic of Santa and the North Pole lands at Schaumburg Park District's The North Pole Holiday Spectacular!

The North Pole Holiday Spectacular, sponsored by AMITA Health, is set for 1-3:30 p.m. and 5-7:30 p.m., Dec. 7 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road. Attendees may choose to attend either the afternoon or evening performance times.

Attendees will be treated to a 30-minute performance of "Santa's Helper," an original play about Santa and his elves during the busiest time in the workshop, and performances by Bravo Show Choir and Charmed/Expressions Dance companies.

"We're delivering holiday magic through the performances of our talented cultural arts actors and performers," said Beth Waller, cultural arts supervisor. "Get into the spirit and join us at this festive and fun all-ages event!"

Activities will include music, games, face painting, cookie decorating and a visit with Santa. Parents are encouraged to bring a camera or use their phones to capture the visit with Santa.

Tickets for each performance are $6 per adult and $8 per child. Day-of cost is $8 per adult and $10 per child. Pre-sale reserve seat tickets are available online. Day-of admission is available one hour prior to performance at the Community Recreation Center.
