Tree of Life UU Second Sunday Collection benefits McHenry County Citizens for Choice

Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 5603 Bull Valley Road in McHenry, supports partner organizations that reflect the values of the congregation and provide key services to the community every month with Second Sunday collections.

After worship on Sept. 8, Irene Raven received a $556 donation on behalf of McHenry County Citizens for Choice.

McHenry County Citizens for Choice is a grass-roots organization dedicated to education about women's reproductive rights which believes that every woman has the fundamental right to access birth control and to decide for herself, free from governmental interference, whether or not to have an abortion. Worship is at 10:45 a.m. Sundays. Child care is provided in the nursery for younger children.
