Learn about 'The Power of the Presidency' at MCC April 17

Join McHenry County College political scientists and historians as they discuss "The Power of the Presidency" and current political events on Wednesday, April 17. It will begin at 2:30 p.m. in Room B166-167 at the college, 8900 Route 14, Crystal Lake.

A panel discussion featuring six MCC history and political science instructors will include David White, Todd Culp, Ph.D., Noriaki Sasaki, Ph.D., Ribhi Salhi, Matthew Hensel and Chris Jaffe.

"This session will be an opportunity to have your questions answered, while we clarify what powers a president has, and how those powers are constrained by the Constitution, law, and policy," said Sarah Sullivan, MCC history instructor.

The event is sponsored by the MCC History and Political Science Department. The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
