Christian Youth Theater-DuPage to put on 'Beauty and the Beast Jr.'
Christian Youth Theatre Chicago: DuPage presents "Beauty and the Beast Jr." this weekend at the Batavia Fine Arts Centre, 1201 Main St.
This classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
Performances will be 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14; and 2 and 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 15-16. Prices may vary by performance. Tickets are $15 or $13 for youth, age 17 or younger, and seniors, age 62 or older. Tickets are $17 at the door.
