hello
I took this photo at Orchids by Hausermann in Villa Park, IL, at their annual orchid show. The picture is a favorite because the orchids look as if they are having a conversation against the rather dramatic backdrop.

I'm tired of winter weather and have dreams of sitting on the dock with my coffee enjoying the quiet, and watching the morning mist burn off. I like this photo as I feel the chairs are beckoning me to enjoy the fresh air and get ready for a paddle on the board.

This is a picture of a Mourning Dove sitting on its nest which contained two eggs. The nest was in a pine tree in my backyard. I used a telephoto lens to avoid getting to near the bird and risk scaring it off the nest. This was taken in April several years ago.

Last March, these beautiful Crocus plants were just emerging from the soil in a garden in Geneva, IL. I photographed them after a rainy morning in order to capture the raindrops clinging to the petals.
