Ride4Animals Poker Run on July 18 to benefit Anderson Humane
Hop on and ride to support Anderson Humane as part of the 2021 Anderson's Ride4Animals Poker Run on Sunday, July 18.
This event will provide much needed financial support for Anderson's mission to create life-long bonds between people and loveable, deserving animals.
Ride with your friends on a round-trip journey through the Fox River Valley and hit some of the best "rider friendly" spots along the way. Help support Anderson Humane and the wild and domestic animals they protect.
It will be "kickstands up" at 11 a.m. at Fox River Harley Davidson, 131 S. Randall Road in St. Charles. Registration starts at 10 a.m.
The stops include: Big Basin Bar in Channahon at 11:30 a.m.; Route 66 Bar & Grill in Wilmington at noon; and Rowdy's Bar & Grill in Yorkville at 1:30 p.m. Then head back up north to Panton Mill Park in South Elgin from 2 to 4 p.m.
Cost is $20 for the individual rider or $10 for passengers.
The cost includes raffles, catered lunch, puppies, and music.
For more than 50 years, Anderson has been the leading animal welfare organization in our community, saving the lives of over 80,000 homeless dogs and cats through adoption.
In March of 2020, Anderson merged with Fox Valley Wildlife Center, introducing the care of injured and orphaned wild animals into our programming. Anderson has expanded its mission to include all animals and to focus on creating and supporting positive connections between people and animals.
The Fox Valley Wildlife Center is a wildlife hospital serving the needs of orphaned, injured, and sick wildlife from Kane County and surrounding areas.
Anderson Humane South Elgin Center is at 1000 S. LaFox St. Other adoptions centers are in Bloomingdale inside the Petco at 412 W. Army Trail Road and in North Aurora at 180 N. Randall Road.
